Brief History
Established in 2016 by Nadine Bruce, a dedicated advocate who herself experienced the challenges of poverty in our community, WDP is committed to creating a brighter, more sustainable future for our children. Our team of volunteers shares a deep-rooted desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.
We focus our efforts on three core areas: providing food, clothing, and essential school supplies. Our volunteers provide all the funding for the food and supplies, and hand deliver and distribute every month to those in need.

Behind every initiative of Set Apart Women Driven To Purpose is a dedicated team of compassionate, hardworking women who selflessly give their time and energy to bring each project to life. These women work tirelessly behind the scenes—planning, organizing, and executing every detail with purpose and heart. United by a shared mission to serve and uplift others, their commitment and teamwork are the driving force that makes all our outreach efforts possible. Founder/President
Nadine Bruce
I have served as president of this nonprofit organization since 2015, overseeing all activities and leading our team to fulfill our mission of uplifting the community. Inspired by a God-given dream and the scripture St. John 21:17, this organization was founded as a response to the call to “feed my sheep.” Through this journey, I’ve seen how faith, obedience, and God’s guidance can truly make the impossible possible.
Asst. Public Relations Officer
Tamisha Ann Hudson
Since 2015, I’ve served as Assistant PRO, helping with communication and outreach. This role has deepened my compassion as I listen to the struggles of others. Through faith and resilience, I’ve overcome financial challenges to become a homeowner—a true testament to God’s grace. I hold firmly to Isaiah 54:17, believing that no weapon formed against me shall prosper.

Andrea Clarke
Our Secretary, a dedicated member since 2019, ensures smooth communication, record-keeping, and board coordination. As a teacher and woman of faith, she brings a deep passion for kindness, compassion, and service. Her personal journey of overcoming abuse through God’s love inspires her commitment to our mission — to spread hope and reflect His grace in all we do.
Media Personnel
Neshia Mighty
Since 2023, I’ve worked as Media Personnel, creating and sharing content that promotes our organization’s mission across various platforms. Though I’m naturally a homebody, my friendship with the president inspired me to get involved, and this ministry has since strengthened my faith. I’ve witnessed God’s provision firsthand and live by Matthew 6:33, always seeking to put God first in everything I do.
Public Relations Officer
Dian Dunbar-Watson
Since 2017, I’ve served as the Public Relations Officer, managing communications and sponsorships. My love for connecting with people and desire to help others drives my work with the charity, motivated deeply by my faith in God. Every day, I’m inspired by the stories I hear and the difference we make together in people’s lives.
Meal Program Lead
Georgetta Francis
Since 2020, Georgetta has faithfully led the team responsible for preparing and distributing warm meals every first Saturday of the month. With a natural gift for caregiving, her passion for helping others shines through in both her professional life and her role within the organization. To her, serving a hot meal is more than just food — it's an expression of love. Inspired by Romans 12:1, she lives to offer herself in service to others, as unto the Lord.
